Episode 019 - Ty Salsbery- Principal Bonneville Online Schools (Idaho Falls, ID)
Ty was raised in small town Montana and attended college at Dickinson State University (Dickinson, ND). While attending DSU, he majored in Secondary English and History Education. After teaching in VERY rural Montana for two years, Ty and his wife moved to Idaho Falls where Ty taught freshman and sophomore English at Hillcrest High School. After five years of teaching, Ty accepted the principalship at Holy Rosary Catholic School. A year later he started Bonneville Online High School in School District #93. Three months into the job, Ty added K-8 online principal to his workload. He has been the principal of the K-12 online program for Bonneville Online Schools for the last three years and enjoys the challenges of growing a successful online program. He lives in Idaho Falls with his wife Kelsey and three-year-old daughter Kirby.
