Pages Matam is a Cameroonian artist residing in the D.C. metropolitan area. He is an internationally recognized award winning poet, writer, and performer. He is a 2x National Slam champion and Southern Fried Champion. He is a Callalloo Fellow, creative writing and performance educator, curator and artistic director of Beltway Poetry Slam. He is the author "The Heart of a Comet" (Write Bloody, 2014) which won best book of 2014 from Beltway Poetry Quarterly.
