Quotes: "I find that one of the most debilitating things in the life of parents, is that they're just afraid. They're afraid NOT to do what else is doing and so they just do what everybody else is doing, even though they know that there's something wrong they're not exactly sure what it is."
"Okay, what are the things that we learned in public school, that we're really glad we learned? We need to be sure that we continue with that, there necessary. What are the things that we we're required to learn that were really a waste of time or that would have been learned just in the context of growing up? What are the things that we were taught but that we really wish we had been taught? We need to be sure that those things were a part of our children's education."
"Anytime that you make a decision based on fear, you start down the road that is not easy to get off of and it's not a good place to be. One of the most obvious things is when people begin homeschooling, they don't know what to do, they just replicate the public school in their home which is a real mistake."
