Episode 239 - Matt Pond, Relearning to Live After Tragedy

Twelve years ago, this very weekend, Matt Pond was diagnosed with brain cancer at age 35. He had less than a 1% chance of survival. In the next four years he went through radiation and 8 types of chemotherapy and three surguries. He lost his ability to read and write, and the surgery that saved his life left him with paralysis of his entire right side. Matt is moving forward with great optimism, has learned to read and write again and even finished his college degree. He had played the guitar for nearly 20 years and learned to play it one-handed. Matt's motto is, "I don't have a bad day anymore. I have good days and I have better days”!
